There are times when we simply forget to stop, drop, and pray! Simply because the storms of life are coming at a speed that sometimes causes a sense of panic even to the person who appears to always be prepared. It’s in those times that we must be reminded of what The Lord said to Moses in Exodus 3:14. When Moses encounters God at the burning bush and asks what name he should give to the Israelites, God replies, “I AM THAT I AM.” He then says, “Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you”. I am that I am. He reassured Moses when he doubted. When fear reared its ugly head and doubt was there to support fear, the Lord said to Moses, “Tell them that I am sent you! The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We would do well to remember this biblical moment in history when facing the pharaohs of our lives. There are times when The Lord has specifically given us something to do, and it seems like we are the lowest man on the totem pole. It’s in these moments when we can rest assured that all of Heaven is backing the assignment that The Lord has sent us to carry out. Remember when you feel unqualified, low in spirit, doubtful, or simply that you just don’t measure up, remember that I am has sent you, and he will back the assignment upon your life.
