About The River Of God Evangelistic Church
Pastors Anthony and Shamika Rich lead The River Of God Evangelistic Church with a heart for revival, legacy, and Kingdom advancement in Southwest Georgia. This location is the first regional launch from our spiritual covering, Word of Life Christian Fellowship International (WOLCFI), based in Orange, New Jersey.
Founded in September 2000 by Overseers Willie and Hazel Washington WOLCFI has faithfully served God’s people for over 25 years. Pastors Rich are honored to carry this mantle forward—mobilizing revival, activating legacy, and building bridges between spiritual formation and community impact.
Our Ministry Timeline
- 2018 & 2019: Hosted our first WIN Conferences, igniting prophetic momentum and regional outreach.
- 2019–2022: Launched Friday Night Revive, a quarterly gathering that stirred revival and community engagement.
- November 2022: Officially established The River Of God Evangelistic Church in Southwest Georgia.
- August 19, 2023: Planted our first church in Albany, GA, marking a major milestone in our apostolic assignment.
- September 3, 2023: Dedicated our second location at 743 East Broad Avenue, expanding our reach and presence.
- September 5, 2024: Held our first service at the temporary tabernacle located at 5425 Newton Road.
- September 4, 2025: Closed on our permanent home at 1301 Dorough Avenue, Albany, GA.
- September 7, 2025: Launched our first service in the new sanctuary, a 300-seat revival hub designed for regional impact.
Each step has been a testament to God’s faithfulness and the power of covenant obedience.

God has entrusted us with a clear and compelling vision:
That His children would be deeply connected to the Spirit of the covenant-keeping God. Through this divine connection, believers will experience exponential growth—rooted in the Word, nourished by the Spirit, and activated for fruitful living.

Our mission
Our mission is for families to be restored through their faith in Christ Jesus by the living word of God. It has been our hearts desire to see the word of
God activated, at work, and elevating those who profess to be believers of Christ the anointed one. Our vision also is seeing economic shifts break forth in the most underrated and impoverished communities that exist within and outside of these United States.
Ultimately changing the spiritual , emotional, and physical stride of the lives we are privileged to touch through the sharing and equipping of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
